Elden Rings most infamous boss, Malenia, is now even harder to fight after the release of the game’s latest update. However, it was not the result of a direct buff that we have seen other parts of the game receive. Instead, it seems that there is a flaw involving the Malenia match, which makes it so that the boss can steal players even more than usual, thus dragging the match further, leaving fewer openings to end the first and second phases. . FromSoftware has not yet commented on the state of the error, but such issues have been fixed relatively quickly in the past, so that is why this error will also be fixed quickly enough.

However, other players who are less knowledgeable about Malenia’s set of moves and the best tactics to beat her may not be so lucky when she heals players without hitting them. Others in the game’s subreddit have also noticed this error. It’s believed to be partly to blame here along with related networking issues, but again, FromSoftware has not yet publicly acknowledged the bug to say what’s going on.
Look for this problem to be addressed in the next Elden Ring Update at any time it publishes, but until then you need to be on guard to fight or help with Malenia matches.
