According to various reports, the next Assassin’s Creedthe game is set to release sometime within the next 18 months and that’s it Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC that has been transformed into a complete game. This raises the question of when the next real main line Assassin’s Creed the game is released. Well, apparently not just in a little while. In a huge new report on Ubisoft – which also has some bad news for Far Cry also fans – it has been revealed that the next right Assassin’s Creed the game has been internally delayed.
The report comes from Kotaku, which says that Ubisoft is targeted for acquisitions and apparently is in a position where it can sell. According to the report, part of the reason why sharks swim around in the French giant and why it may be ready to sell is the catastrophic state of its many studios and the games they work on. The report claims that it is not just the next main line Assassin’s Creed games that are internally delayed, but also other projects.
Of course, it is possible that this report is not true, but Kotaku is a fairly reliable source, and it is consistent with the rumble we have also heard. Ubisoft was given the opportunity to reject the report, but instead gave “no comment” followed by some very standard PR lectures, all of which suggest, at least, that there is some truth in the report.
“We do not comment on rumors or speculation. Ubisoft has unmatched creativity and production capacity, with more than 20,000 talented people collaborating across our global game development studies. Thanks to them and our long-term approach and appetite for taking creative risks, we have built some of the industry’s strongest proprietary brands and has many promising new brands and projects on the way. We also have one of the industry’s deepest and most diversified portfolios, cutting-edge services and technologies and a large and growing community of committed As a result, we are ideally positioned to take advantage of the rapid industrial growth and platforming opportunities that are emerging right now.
As mentioned, it is not all doom and gloom Assassin’s Creed fans. It is not confirmed, but the sources behind the aforementioned Assassin’s Creed Valhallda DLC transformed, which has been transformed into a full game under the codename “Rift” are good sources. In other words, Assassin’s Creed fans should get more Assassin’s Creed within a reasonable time, but this may be followed by a longer waiting time than usual on the next actual main line.
