Today, Cloud Imperium Games released the new Alpha update for Star Citizen, number 3.17, along with a few new videos.

The new update includes air (or space) refueling from ship to ship, the ability to sell looted equipment, mining equipment, the MISC Hull A cargo ship, the new hospital in Hurston and the new technology for rivers.

The second video includes suggested changes to biome interaction, improvements to AI, work on abandoned outposts, space ruins, and more.

The third video is a longer video showing the creation of one of these abandoned outposts.

In other Star Citizen news, crowdfunding has recently exceeded $ 453 million and is currently at $ 453,427,913.

The number of registered accounts is almost at 3.7 million and it is at 33,698,071 at the time of writing.

As usual, keep in mind that it is known that not all of them are paying players. The number includes free accounts created for a variety of reasons, including Free Fly events.
