Yes, it is almost 17 years old now, but those who own it are quite happy with its overall performance for so many years. Well for those who are still using it, Microsoft has just unveiled an unusual update to fix an issue. At first glance, this does not seem to be a huge deal, but given that the Xbox 360 was released in 2005, it’s amazing to get an update to say the least.

A sequel to the original Xbox 360 hit the road on November 22, 2005. With an online service in Xbox Live, it allowed players to enjoy titles online and download games through Live Arcade. Plus they were able to access the demos for the upcoming releases.
Xbox 360 is the sixth best-selling console in gaming history. In addition, it is also the best-selling console made by a US company, which is Microsoft. Although its production was discontinued years ago, according to the 2016 announcement, the console will receive support. The latest evidence comes from an employee who works at Microsoft.

Eden Marie, Engineering Lead at Xbox, recently tweeted that they have implemented an update to the Xbox 360 regarding an issue. What is interesting to note is that it was only reported by two people who own the 2005 product. Still, the Microsoft team did not disappoint them and eventually solved their problem.
