A PC mod so you can play Elden Ring in VR is on its way, thanks to Luke Ross. Ross has previously released VR mods for Red Dead Redemption 2as well as Cyberpunk 2077. He has released a video on his YouTube channel showing what the mod will look like when done. [Thanks, PC Gamer!]
This courage will change the perspective. Once applied, someone will be able to see through the eyes of a tarnished. The original third-person point of view is also displayed. Ross, however, told PC Gamer that it is not recommended in VR because of the distance between a player’s point of view and their avatar.
So much of Elden Ring‘s battle depends on dodging and rolling, VR will not turn every single time. According to Ross, the camera will follow the character’s head, but will remain oriented after your head in real life. This means that the world will not spin around you every time you perform the action in the game.
That Elden Ring VR mod is under development. Ross expects to release a build of it by the end of April 2022. However, it will not be completely finished by that time. Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows PC. The game has sold over 12 million units worldwide by March 2022.
