Be aware, these Star Wars games will be on sale for ‘May the Fourth’ celebrations – IGN

We’re not far from Star Wars Day, young padawans. Most people already know about the extremely father-level joke, ‘May the fourth be with you’ – but it’s a good day to be a Star Wars fan. Not only is it a celebration of the beloved franchise, but it is also a great time to find a deal.

We want a full round-up of the day, but in anticipation it has already been confirmed that more games that will be on sale in a few weeks will cover you for ‘May the Fourth’ and the week beyond as well (April 29 – May 10).

Currently, confirmed games on sale include Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Star Wars Squadrons and even the Star Wars Triple Package (including all three of the aforementioned games), which gets a 70% discount on all platforms. There are also Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Republic Commando, skins in Minecraft and Sims 4 and much more to look forward to.

You might even be able to check out a few deals already, with games included in Xbox sales from April 28 to May 5 and up to 70% off Star Wars games during the ‘Games Under 20’ sale on PlayStation running until May 11.

We expect that even more than just games will also be for sale, where e.g. 4K Blu-rays, LEGO sets, books, games and toys all get discounts on sale in May the fourth of last year.

What has not yet been confirmed in the sale is whether we will get a discount on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The game has already done tremendously well, selling 3.2 million copies in the first two weeks, but I will not put it beyond the possibility of a sale under ‘May the Fourth’.
