Life, uh, finds a way
Another wave of games is on its way to the Xbox Game Pass this month, and a good portion of them are hitting today. The back half of May has some pretty interesting deals; not so many great AAA hits, but some indie gems that are well worth spending time on.
Leading the charge is Jurassic World Evolution 2, the sequel to Frontier’s original dino-park management sim. It has got a new campaign and of course lots of new dinosaurs to have in their pens. You want to keep them in their pens, right?
However, the Indies are especially out in full force for May. Sam Barlow’s FMV text search mystery Her History joins the PC Game Pass series. Peaceful witch game Little witch in the woods arrive day one for Game Preview on both console and PC Game Pass if you want to explore the forest and live the daily witch life.
Umurangi generation comes to cloud, console and PC on Game Pass, and it’s honestly an absolute must-play. Its a mix of Pokemon SnapCamera gameplay and incredible storytelling are worth your time. Later that month, the PC hit Vampire survivors also brings free demon killing into the PC Game Pass range. Plus, there are several day-1 launches, like indie strategy games Floppy Knights and the full launch of Hardspace: Shipbreakers.
