Absolutely free games pop up every single week thanks to the Epic Games Store, and with the help of affordable subscription services, there are literally hundreds of games out there that come as perks with services on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC. Our free playlist focuses on full experiences that you can play without the pressure of microtransactions, so you will not find popular free games like Fortnite, Warzone or Apex Legends here. We also do not include free-to-start games such as Destiny 2 or Hitman 2’s Starter Pack. When it comes to free games, PC gamers tend to have far more options than console gamers. There are always new freebies up for grabs for PC. It is quite common for seriously amazing games to be offered for free for a limited period of time. Epic Games Store free games
Epic Games Store is a leader in popular free budget games. In the last few years, Epic has given away hundreds of free games, including AAA blockbusters such as Grand Theft Auto V, Control and Civilization VI. At least one free game is available at Epic each week, but often it is two free games. Here are the current free games available at Epic:
Amazon Prime free game
One of the benefits of an Amazon Prime membership is free PC games. Subscribers can claim a handful of free games through Prime Gaming, and they are yours to keep even if your subscription expires. Prime members also receive free in-game content for popular multiplayer games each month. Here is a list of the current free games for Amazon Prime members. Amazon has also revealed that six free games will be available in May.

Well-known games are not regularly reduced to zero dollars on Steam, but there are still hundreds of free things to check out without spending a dime. PC game pass
If you are looking for a way to play tons of different PC games cheaply, PC Game Pass is the way to go. There are hundreds of PC games on Game Pass, including Age of Empires IV, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite and Microsoft Flight Simulator. We have a complete list of PC Game Pass games that we update every time games are added and removed. PC Game Pass costs $ 10 a month, but new subscribers can get their first month for just a dollar. It is worth noting that PC Game Pass is included as part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($ 15 per month).
Free PlayStation Games
Free games on PS5 and PS4 that are not linked to PlayStation Plus are rare, but sometimes a publisher gives away a complete game for free. So far, you can see all the free PS Plus games available right now. It is worth noting that the PS Plus expands in June. Sony is dropping its PlayStation Now service in favor of a three-decade PlayStation Plus plan that will include up to 700 games.

In terms of console games, Xbox users have the most options when it comes to free games with subscriptions, and you can also play a lot of brand new games – including all first-party titles – without buying games directly. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is without a doubt the best offer in gaming today and it includes hundreds of games. Microsoft is rotating in a new range of new games and removing a batch of titles every month. Xbox Series X and Xbox One owners can also grab a myriad of other free games in the Xbox Store. Many of these games are older titles that are backwards compatible.
Free Nintendo Switch Games
The most notable free Nintendo Switch games require a Nintendo Switch Online membership, which costs $ 20 per year for an individual membership or $ 35 per year for a family membership. You can share the family membership with up to seven other Switch owners, so it’s a pretty great deal. A Switch Online membership provides access to a library of classic SNES and NES games.
Upgrading to the Switch Online + Expansion Pack also gives you a growing library of Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games. Switch Online + Expansion Pack costs $ 50 / year for individuals and $ 80 / year for families. Expansion Pack subscribers also get great DLCs for three Switch exclusives: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack, Animal Crossing Happy Home Paradise and Splatoon 2’s Octo campaign.
Switch Online subscribers also get access to Tetris 99 and Pac-Man 99, hectic battle royale spins on two classics throughout.
