Typically the new one Genshin Impact the update arrives right after the last banner in an update is about to end. In this case, it would mean that 2.7 would have appeared on May 11, 2022. That is when the Ayaka rebroadcast banner disappears. Since an update has never been delayed before, it is unknown how miHoYo will handle the current banner situation.
Although we do not know much about what will come in the 2.7 update, we know two new characters that will appear. One is the five-star Hydro archer Yelan. She briefly appeared in the recent The Chasm quests in Liyue. The other new unit is four-star Electro Swordsman and Arataki Gang member Kuki Shinobu.
Genshin Impact is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and mobile devices. It will also eventually come to the Nintendo Switch. There is no release window for the delayed Genshin Impact 2.7 update yet.
