Over the last few years, Gloomhaven has become the gold standard for table players who want to have a Dungeons & Dragons–esque experience without a Dungeon Master. Then the PC version of the game made it among the best ways to have an experience in dungeon without table, cardboard or even friends in the area. Come next year you will be out of excuses like Gloomhaven finally coming to consoles.

Announced via the Asmodee Digital Twitter account, the console version of Gloomhaven will be handled by Saber Interactive and is expected in 2023. Further details are missing, but as indicated by the recent release of The jaws of the lion DLC, publisher Asmodee appears to be quite engaged in both digital and physical versions of Isaac Childres’ role-playing game sensation. The successor to the board game, Frosthavenis expected somewhat later this year following a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign in 2020.
