Google’s latest Pixel software updates have not always landed flawlessly. Late last year, for example, the company was forced to release an OTA following reports that the software caused Pixel 6 and 6 Pro to drop calls. Recently, they introduced an issue that caused the company’s latest phones to produce much weaker messages when you received a message. Many Pixel 6 and 6 Pro owners, after Google released the update, noticed that no matter what they set their phone’s haptic feedback to, they would miss calls and emails because they could not feel their device vibrate.

The update addresses two other issues that affect all newer Pixels devices. The first involves an error that had caused these phones to wake up their screens without input.
