Beta 1 of Android 13 is available today and will be most people’s introduction to Google’s next major OS version. We dive into today’s release of Android 13 Beta 1 to find out what new features have been added.

Google is planning six milestone releases in the coming months before the consumer launch later this year for Pixel phones and other devices. Security and privacy Quick tile disabled

  • Listed as “Unavailable” before it disappears

More ‘Basic colors’ in Wallpaper and style

  • 16 in total
    • 11 single colors (+7)
    • 5 two colors

The media player is scrolling

  • The search / progress bar now SQUIGGLES the part of the line you have already listened to
  • Compared to DP2, it is much more stable with repeat / mixed mix actions that are always displayed
