Horizon Forbidden West Latest patch stops Aloy’s festive robbers

Horizon forbidden west has got its latest update and Patch 1.12 nips a few strange and wonderful bugs in the bud. Not only will Aloy not be able to have more festive loot raves, but Guerrilla Games will not allow her to spend more time in the bathroom either. Sad to be her.

Horizon Forbidden West Patch 1.12 was released on PS5 and PS4 today, April 20th. The patch made changes to several main tasks, side tasks, boilers and many other aspects of the game. Some of the more interesting fixes include that Aloy can no longer get stuck in the bathroom at the Base, something we can probably all empathize with. There was also another Time Ripper to be disciplined, quest mates who were apparently unaware of the fights around them, and her infamous festive loot raves where Aloy would jump unchecked on the spot for up to 10 seconds after retrieving a resource . You can find the full patch notes on Reddit if you want to read all the fine details.

There are also several known issues that the team is still working on. Lofty Ambition’s side mission still has issues where Adadund refuses to trade with Aloy. The Ancient Relics Salvage Contract and A Soldier’s Quest side mission both have progression blockers. Outfits can still appear as dark shadows in the inventory, while the Apex Grimhorn still proves to be completely intangible outside of quests. Finally, “the team continues to make adjustments to the content of the game with the goal of reducing visual shimmer”.

In other news, Sonic Origins has been confirmed for PS5 and PS4 and will be released on the 31st anniversary of the release of Sonic The Hedgehog. Elsewhere, God of War Ragnarok is still scheduled to be released this year.
