- Go to on your device Settings> Accounts & backup> Manage accounts.

Turn on 2-step verification
To keep your information secure, you can enable 2-factor authentication (2FA) for your Google Account.
When you sign in to your Gmail account from a new device, Google sends you a login security alert if it detects possible malicious activity on your account. This is designed to protect you from malware attacks with unauthorized access and other suspicious activity.
With 2FA, you must enter an additional code each time you log in to your account from a new computer or device, or after a period of inactivity. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Go to on your device Settings> Accounts & backup> Manage accounts.
- Select your newly created account from the list and press Google Account.

- Enter the one-time password you received and press Next to activate and switch on 2FA.
