Happy Overwatch 2 Beta Day! As many players wake up to find the golden beta ticket in their inbox, there will inevitably be those left without one. But be brave, heroes, because Blizzard has designed a way for you to get an invitation to what’s basically Overwatch 2‘s soft-launch day.
Starting tomorrow and lasting a few hours, anyone who links their Battle.net account to their Twitch profile and watches for at least four hours Overwatch 2 from a list of streamers can access OW2 beta. You can find the list of approved streamers here.
In the beta version, players will be able to check out the 33rd Hero Sojourn, all the new Hero updates, the brand new Push game mode and the five against five reworks. Unfortunately, the beta is limited to PC players only, but Blizzard plans to open up OW2 beta testing for console gamers in the future.
The campaign starts at 13:00 ET on April 27 and lasts until kl. 21:00 ET. You do not have to watch the same streamer for all four hours as your viewing time will run across all the approved channels.
If you do not have that kind of time (or desire) to access the beta by gluing your eyeballs to Twitch for four hours, you can also try your luck the old-fashioned way by signing up for beta access Overwatch 2‘s website. The beta lasts until May 17, and Blizzard has stated that it will add players on a regular basis.
Correction 26 April at 13:45 ET: Twitch falls for access to the Overwatch 2 beta starting tomorrow, April 27th. An earlier version of this incorrectly posted post begins today, April 26th.
