Microsoft is currently running a major campaign for PC game pass. New subscribers who recently played one of the company’s major fall releases in 2021 will have three months of access to the service’s Netflix-like game library for free. It’s also perfect timing because the PC side of Game Pass currently has lots of great new stuff.

You can check if you are entitled to the agreement on the Microsoft website (PC Game Pass is usually $ 10 a month), but here are the main criteria you must meet:

  • Not a former Game Pass subscriber
  • Played Halo infinite, Forza Horizon 5or Age of Empires IV on PC between launch and February 28, 2022
  • Logged in to your Microsoft account while playing

One big point worth mentioning is that this deal even applies to people who only played Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer mode. If you fall into that bucket, that was hugely game considered topped with over 250,000 concurrent players on Steam alone Once the mode was released, you have three months to play some amazing PC games.

Recently launched highlights include the evocative Zelda-like Tunictop-down immersive sim Strange vestand Southern Gothic point-and-click adventure games Norco. All three are early candidates for this year’s game shortlist. And of course, the PC Game Pass, like its Xbox counterpart, includes all of Microsoft’s first-class series, newly acquired franchises, and EA Play’s PC library.

Here are some other standouts from the list of 418 games:

  • A Pest Speech: Innocence
  • Battletech
  • Crusader Kings III
  • Dead cells
  • The door of death
  • Dragon Quest XI
  • Gorgoa
  • Hades
  • Cave Knight
  • Kentucky Route Zero
  • Outer Wilds
  • Spelunky 2
  • Kill the Sprout
  • Tetris effect
  • Yakuza: Like a dragon

While the PC Game Pass has typically lacked some of the biggest names in the Xbox version, its library has certainly grown in parity over the past year. According to a recent reportGame Pass is also expected to have a family sharing plan soon, which would make it easy for people in the same household to all play games from the same account.
