Following its announcement and unveiling earlier this month, Square Enix has delivered a new update on Kingdom Hearts 4, and as a result it has provided new details. The new details come with the courtesy of Famitsu, and are unfortunately light on details of the prominent variety. And unfortunately, they will be the only details we get for a while, as it is noted that Square Enix is focused on game development, and therefore a new update will not be shared for a while. When the game reappears, Square Enix teases that fans will get to see it run on Unreal Engine 5, the latest iteration of Unreal Engine and an upgrade to Kingdom Hearts 3s Unreal Engine 4 use.
The details that are not included are platform information or a release date. Meanwhile, there are also no words on which worlds will be presented, a question many players have had according to Google search results. That said, there are more details than the one above that you can all read about below, politely Xenosaga. That said, keep in mind that all of this information comes through a leak and through translation. When things are translated from Japanese to English, meaning and vital context can be lost in the process.

-Lost Masters is basically a hostile faction like Org. XIII.
-KH4 scenraio worked on by 3 people. Nomura, Oka and also Akiko Ishibashi (NEO: TWEWY)
-KH4 will focus on game development, so no new information is planned for a while.– xenosaga (@ xenosaga7) April 27, 2022
Kingdom hearts is in active development at Square Enix. There are currently no words about a release window, let alone a release date, or platforms.
“Sora is an original Disney video game hero like no other, loved by our team and fans around the world,” Walt Disney Games director Nana Gadd said at the time of the game’s announcement. “We have been honored to work with Tetsuya Nomura and his team for two decades to introduce these original stories of discovery, courage and friendship. This insight into Sora’s next adventure is only the beginning – we can not wait to show more, when the time comes. “
