New VR games May 2022: All the biggest releases

After a full month of April with the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, we are back to a constant supply of launches in May. nDreams brings two titles to the table and there are also some exciting new indie projects to check out.

New VR games May 2022

Fracked (May 5) – PC VR

Following its release as PSVR-exclusive in 2021, nDreams blockbuster shooter will arrive on PC VR headsets in early May. Fracked offers a quick single-player campaign where you will ski down mountains and infiltrate the facilities of a shady company to no avail.

Little Cities (May 12) – Quest

Following a last-minute delay in April, this airy city building sim now looks set to launch on Quest 1 and 2 in mid-May. Build your own urban areas across multiple levels, and upgrade cities to unlock new features and buildings. Future updates will also add manual tracking.

Omega Pilot (May 12) – PC VR

Go on the racetrack in this futuristic driving game from XOCUS. This early-release release has asynchronous multiplayer, but expect real-time multiplayer and more in the full version scheduled for the end of 2022.

Swordsman VR (May 26) – Quest

This long-running VR fighting game is finally ready for an App Lab release on Quest. You will have to divide enemies across different arenas and eras in the story. At the same time, the Advanced Combat update will be launched across Quest, PSVR and PC VR, bringing thousands of new animations to the game and more.

The Last Taxi VR (May 31) – PC VR

A unique VR conversation simulator where you have to keep your customers talking while you tax them around in a futuristic metropolis. Learn about the divide between classes and earn money to keep your vehicle in top condition.
