Nintendo hits YouTube channel with over 500 copyright claims for uploading game music

“Right away I want to remove all Nintendo music from my channel. With more than 500 claims and more than a dozen audio tracks blocked over the last week, it’s pretty clear they do not want their music on YouTube.

Some of you may have already noticed that these soundtracks are starting to disappear, but I thought I would give you all a message about what’s going on. This is not the first time I have addressed this issue on my channel, but it will be the last. I’m sorry for anyone who enjoys their music, but I do not have much choice.

I have no intentions of deleting my channel and the rest of my non-Nintendo soundtracks will remain up for the foreseeable future. It’s frustrating, but as I’ve said before, it’s ultimately their choice to get their music blocked on the platform.

“Once again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience this will cause as I enjoy listening to Nintendo music here as much as you all do, but it just makes no sense to continue like this.”
