After an inexplicably long wait, Motorola caught its most patient and devoted fans completely off guard a few months ago by delivers stable Android 12 goodies to the rather humble and old Moto G Pro ahead of all other devices in its portfolio.
Admittedly, the Lenovo-owned brand has not been known for releasing many advanced smartphones in recent years, and both Moto Edge X30 and The Motorola Edge 30 Pro, aka Edge + (2022), powerhouses debuted predictably with the latest Android version out of the box.
But 2020’s mid-range Moto G Pro and then the even lower end The Moto G30 from the beginning of last year somehow managed to beat people like the 5G-enabled Moto G100 and G200 to the official Android 12 punch, which was … a pretty strange choice.
The wireless rollout is apparently underway in selected European markets with security fixes from March 2022, but if you expect us to say that an expansion to the US will follow soon, we’re afraid we have no good news report on it regional front.
This is because of the Snapdragon 888 Plus drive The Moto G200 itself is not officially available from the state, which means that its Android 12 update will only be extended to regions like Latin America and the UK at some point in the near future.
