PS Plus PS5, PS4 games for May 2022 announced

That PS Plus games for May 2022 have been officially announced and you will not believe it, but the leak was right. Who saw it coming ?!

As usual, subscribers get three games across PS5 and PS4. The committee is as follows …

Now, at first glance, it looks like a pretty good month – but then most of us are here at Push Square are big football fans. In fact, the inclusion of a sports title – like the headline, no less – is bound to rub some people the wrong way.

But hey, Tribes of Midgard and Curse of the Dead Gods are at least pretty high rated. The former is an addictive, co-op-activated action RPG with some survival elements. Sony even promoted the Tribes quite heavily before it was released. The latter, meanwhile, is very similar to something like Hades – a stylized action title that relies on dungeon crawling mechanics.

We thought EA Sports’ football swim was a return to the form in ours FIFA 22 PS5 review: “FIFA 22 feels like real football and it’s so much the better. Impressive improvements in player positioning, ball physics and animations provide a highly satisfying simulation that supports each of the franchise’s flagship modes. Career mode does not reinvent wheels, but the ability to create a club is entertaining and the changes in player careers are delayed.Microtransactions still reign in the Ultimate Team and you will already have your own personal opinions about it, but there is so much to do in this year’s release that you could easily invest hundreds of hours in it without seeing a single loot box. “

In the meantime, we’ve tagged ours Curse of the Dead Gods PS4 review with a respectable 7/10: “If you want a dungeon crawler with satisfying gameplay and some unique ideas, this is far from a curse.”

All three games will be available for download from next Tuesday, May 3rd.
