New reporting system comes in 9.2.5

Adding to the number of new features and changes coming in 9.2.5 is an update to in-game player reporting.

In order to make it easier to “report disruptive or bad player behavior”, Blizzard has now modernized the tab. It works like this:

  1. Right-click on the player’s name in the chat or other relevant area
  2. Click ‘Report Player’
  3. This will open a popup that allows you to select the relevant reason for the report as well as allow you to add further details
  4. Click on ‘report’

In addition, Blizzard has added a social contract, which by logging in to 9.2.5 for the first time will ask players to accept before entering. The contract outlines behaviors that will make the overall player experience more positive, and provides an overview of behaviors that are not acceptable in the game.
