Less than a month after receiving the previous update, members of the Galaxy S22 family have today been presented with yet another update. So far, this only goes out for Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra devices, but those who use Samsung’s Exynos chip should get it in the near future as well.
The new version is branded S90xEXXU2AVE4 (where “x” changes depending on which phone you have), and it is already rolling out in a dozen countries as a 350 MB over-the-air download. The update brings with it various unnamed security fixes as well as improvements to the “overall stability of features”, according to the very mysterious and vague changelog.
Mid-month updates like these are rare for Samsung, so the company must have found something worth fixing as soon as possible and not wait until the June security fixes come out in a few weeks or so.
If you have a Snapdragon drive S22, S22 + or S22 Ultra and have not yet received the update message for it, you can check manually by going to Settings> Software Update.
