Sony promised to update its Xperia 10 II and Xperia 10 III phones to Android 12, and after finishing it with the latter, it now serves the first batch of updates to the Mark II.
The OTA update appears to be limited to Southeast Asia only, at least for now. The update package itself is 900MB in size and has a build number 59.2.A.0.422. The security patch is from March 2022 instead of February 2022 that the Xperia 10 III got.
This is clearly just a soft test, but we’m pretty sure the global distribution of Android 12 is just around the corner.
