■ Introduction
Hi, how have you been? I’m Ringo by Aion. This is the fourth Summoner’s Guide, a program that teaches you how to become a Devil Summoner. Be sure to keep up, okay?
First of all, have you seen the video about me and Figue that was released the other day? I have even more info for you today.
Ringo
I’m sure you know it now, but I’m Ringo, an agent for Aion. I was recently born to prevent the world from going under, and I’m still learning about people. I would very much like to learn more about all of you. It would not be fair if this is a one-way deal, so I will tell you about me first.
My COMP has some special features. It is usually a katana type, but can be turned into a pistol type COMP during a Sabbath. I’m pretty good at electricity and omnipotent skills. I also have high offensive power so you can count on me as a striker. I even plan on learning skills that let me expand the number of a demon’s skill slots. I’m sure it’s going to work, so be sure to give it a try.
FIG
We move on to Figue, the other agent who was born at the same time as me. You could say she’s a bit like a sister to me. Figue is the cautious and reliable type, unlike me. She helps us by, among other things, providing information that suits her perfectly.
Her analytical skills make her well-suited for a supporting role. She scouts dungeons for enemies using her owl-type drone named Mimi. Pretty cute, don’t you think? Mimi warns us when enemies show up and tells us when demons out on Demon Recon are nearby, so be careful.
And … what else is there … Oh yes … Her favorite food is taiyaki! She gets mad at me if I chat too much, so you should talk to her directly. Please take care of my cute figure!
To pass on Aion’s will to the two of us, Flamma was born. Flamma just tells us what we need to know in a matter-of-fact way, but she could be a little more kind about it.
Now that I have reviewed… people? Who is related to Aion, This summarizes the essence of everything I talked about. Now you have a good idea of everyone’s relationship with each other. It is a rather complex correlation diagram. People are really fascinating.
■ Devil Summoner Progression Elements
Now I want to discuss how Devil Summoners is growing stronger. People need to keep growing every day.
At the Mansei Realm COMP SMITH plant, acquired materials can be used to modify COMPs. It’s powered by the talented Tara (pronounced by Yumiri Hanamori), who can apply modifications useful for combat, such as increasing the attack or reducing MP costs … or skills like Pick-Me-Up, which increase the chance to retrieve items from defeated enemies, which can provide valuable benefits for exploration.
Commander Skills are also exclusively available for Ringos COMP. Feel free to customize your COMPs to suit your individual playing style.
Accessories can be purchased at Zafiro, located in Shinsando. Not only can accessories increase defense, but many of them can alter various stats, such as evasion. Try to equip accessories that fit well with your playing style.
In Shinsando is also Bar Heidrun, where Ringo and her allies can spend time together. These interactions, where they converse and drink together, are called Hangout events, and completing them boosts your soul level with a given ally.
Soul levels represent the level of mutual understanding between allies. In addition to hanging out at the bar, soul levels can be increased by continuing the story. They say that increased soul levels can provide some form of blessing.
-Ringo: “We can not approach it as if there is only one right way to do things.”
Change COMPs and equipment accessories to strengthen characters. Boost soul levels and deepen your relationship with your allies! In order to face powerful enemies, you must become stronger as a Devil’s Caller and as a team.
■ Conclusion
Well, that was it for today’s Summoner’s Guide. Keep looking forward to the next one, okay?
Until next time!
