Rob Zombie is again taken to social media to show a new look at Monstersthis time gives us our first look at Jeremy Wheeler as Mr. Gateman, Herman’s chef.
Zombie describes the character as “Herman’s boss at the only GATEMAN, GOODBURY and GRAVES FUNERAL PARLIAMENT the finest funeral home in all of Mockingbird Heights. 💀 Don’t let the winning smile fool you … he’s a cruel man for a cruel job.”
Jeff Daniel Phillips plays Herman Munster and Sheri Moon Zombie plays Lily Munster in Zombies movie, with Daniel Roebuck starring as Grandpa Munster.
Richard Brake (31, 3 from Hell) plays Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang. Catherine Schell (“Space: 1999,” The return of the pink panther) plays “Zoya Krupp the gypsy queen.”
Dee Wallace, Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson and Jorge Garcia will also star.
Zombie directs the film for Universal Home Entertainment, and it’s possible Monsters may end up being a Peacock exclusive. The latter has not been confirmed.

To re-watch the original series, “The Munsters” is streaming on Peacock. That series ran for only two seasons between 1964 and 1966 and spawned several feature films and a sequel television series entitled “The Munsters Today” (1988-1991). Most recently, Bryan Fuller rethought the “Mockingbird Lane” series for NBC, but never got past a pilot episode.
