The Elder Scrolls 6s four-year advertising anniversary is approaching. When the game was announced, it was done with the most vague teaser trailer and no information. Four years later, there has been no follow-up media or any follow-up information about the game. In fact, the situation has only become more unclear with the Xbox’s acquisition of Bethesda, which apparently rules out the possibility that the game will come to the PS5, although this has not been directly confirmed yet. Sorry for Oldest rolls fans, Bethesda Game Studios is still not talking about the game and it is unlikely that this will change before Starfield is out. That said, there is a new rumor about the game.
The rumor leaks a wide range of information about the game, including its setting, but most notably, it passes on some information about when the game should be released or at least what Bethesda is planning. And according to rumors, the plan is to get the game out sometime between 2025 and 2026, which will be three to four years after the release of Starfield. And this window makes sense if the game is still in the early stages of development, as previous updates have suggested, and if the majority of Bethesda Game Studios will be focused on Starfield until November,
If the game is released in this window, it will certainly not be a cross-gen release, which means you will need either an Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, or a PC to play it. Of course, the game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass, so if it comes to multiple platforms, then it would also be available on these platforms, but there has been no rumor that this has happened, at least not recently.
