The Nothing phone (1) may finally have a launch date and price

Nothing, after months of teasing, finally confirmed that its first smartphone – the Nothing phone (1) – would soon hit the shelves sometime this summer. Notting’s CEO Carl Pei also revealed that the Nothing phone (1) would pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and run a new custom Android variant called Nothing OS. No other information was really given, however, now a report from All-round PC claims that the phone launches on July 21 and costs somewhere around € 500.

The report comes from information provided by the well-known leak Max Jambor, who has previously had several successful leaks of OnePlus devices. The report notes, however, that there is a chance that this may be incorrect, as the timeline for the phone’s release is not set in stone.

As for the chipset, if it is a Qualcomm chipset priced at € 500, then it is possible that it can incorporate the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. As for other aspects of the phone, all we know is that Nobody has bought Andy Rubin’s Essential. brand and all its trademarks – including Essential PH-1.

In fact, not much is known about the Nothing phone (1), other than that it will apparently have a unique design and contribute to a product ecosystem. The Nothing phone (1) will be the company’s second product, and it is reportedly also working on four other products. Nothing says it will have an iconic design and offer seamless connectivity with other devices in its product ecosystem. Currently, Nothing has only one other product on the market – the Nothing Ear (1).

Nothing recently launched Nothing Launcher in the Google Play Store, to give users an insight into what to expect from the company’s own Android variant. The launcher does not offer much more than any other, with basic features that you can find pretty much anywhere else.
