Two Samsung Galaxy A phones get Android 12 updates (One UI 4.1 included)

Samsung has had a good run rolling out the Android 12 update to a host of smartphones and tablets, old and new. The good news is that the South Korean giant does not seem to be slowing down, so the Android 12 updates are likely to keep coming as long as there are devices that are qualified for these.

Today it does not look like one, but two Samsung smartphones get the long awaited Android 12 update, Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A71 (non-5G version). As reported by XDA developers, these updates include One UI 4.1, the latest version of Samsung’s UI, as well as the March security patch.

The catch is that the update is only rolled out in selected regions, so it may take a while to get it if you do not live in one of these countries. That said, if you have Galaxy A71 4G and living in Hong Kong, the chances are that you will very soon get the Android 12 update with One UI 4.1.

On the other hand, if you rock one Galaxy A32 5G as your daily driver and live in Poland, Russia and Panama, you will most likely get the update in the coming days. If nothing bad is reported about these updates, we may see them available in more countries over the next few weeks.
