Recent rumors surrounding the unnamed Star Wars game from Uncharted director Amy Hennig suggest the project will be put under the original trilogy.

More information about the upcoming Star wars games from ex Uncharted Director Amy Hennig appears to have been revealed as details of the project’s framework are reportedly leaked.

The renowned industry guru AccNgt recently claimed that the nameless game currently under development at Hennig’s Skydance New Media will take place in the Rebel Alliance era. This places it below the events of the original trilogy of films (Episode IV A New Hope, Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Section VI Return of the Jedi). Although the doctor says the game is codenamed “Project Walton”, they also note that the setting could indicate a “form of revival” of Project Ragtag, which should have been set just before the events of Empire strikes back.

Project Ragtag was the long-awaited third person Star wars adventure games Henning has previously worked on with the developer Visceral Games together with the award-winning team behind Two-man army and Dead Space. However, the project was canceled by EA Games in 2017 due to the publisher reportedly wanting to make room for titles in royal-style combat.

Hennig recently announced its new one Star wars game, presumably the unnamed Project Walton, who describes it as a “real cinematic action-adventure game with an original story.” “I have often described how to look Star wars in 1977, my 12-year-old brain essentially reshaped, shaping my creative life and my future in an indelible way, ”Hennig continued in a press release. “I’m excited to work with Lucasfilm Games again to tell interactive stories in this galaxy that I love.”

Although it is currently unknown when Hennig’s play is expected to be released, Star wars fans will happily have several other video games to look forward to in the coming years. Quantum dreams Star Wars Eclipse may have been delayed until 2027-2028, and Ubisoft has recently announced Star wars open-world games may be missing a release window, but fans may get news about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 as soon as next month. The sequel to the action-adventure game from 2019 will reportedly be revealed during Star wars Celebration event in May where the full game is expected to arrive by the end of this year.
