The developers at Iron Gate AB continue the work to a large extent on Valheims Mistlands update and publish a new developer diary on Steam. (Although I’m sure they also took a short break and celebrated when the game reached 10 million copies sold.)
The diary, titled “Ancient Ruins Unearthed,” contains an impressive look at some cyclopean rock ruins that will populate the Mistlands. We have seen their similar ones before, in the swamps and half-built mountain towers, but they had a decidedly more grounded appearance. However, the massive ruins teased for Mistlands are huge boulders bound in bronze ribbons riveted to the stone. They are somehow much more supernatural than the other ruins Vikings have found around Valheim.
For my part, I wonder how these large ruins have anything to do with the equally large spiders lurking around.
Alongside that, Valheim’s team also posted a tease, the stealth-released one on social media. It’s a little hare, an adorable thing that will wander in the Mistlands all year round. Fast forward to the end of the video to see how the hare can live and move in the world.
