Echoes of Mana will be released for iOS and Android next week

After opening pre-registration earlier this month, the expected gacha JRPG Echoes of Mana finally has a release date. This Square Enix-developed mobile entrance to the popular Mana series, which is set to launch on April 27, seeks to impress players with a whole new story and characters.

Mana is one of the JRPG classics ever since Secret of Mana was released for the SNES in 1993. Since then, there has been an abundance of contributions and updated releases, but the last post, except for the recent Trials of Mana remake, was released all the way back in 2014. With this in mind, the excitement surrounding Echoes of Mana is palpable as it is the first independent entry in the series since then.

As for the game itself, Echoes offers semi-turn-based combat just like its predecessors, though this time they add a whole new feature never seen before in the franchise. Cooperation.

That’s right, the single player linear series branches into this item and allows up to three separate players to join each other on quests. However, the story does not come in the back seat, and anyone interested should know that this is largely a story-driven RPG at the end of the day.

But for all fans of the classics, this should alleviate any fears you may have about the series becoming mobile. This is still planned to be a focused and true JRPG adventure with new characters and an emotional story that can compete with even Secrets or Trials of Mana.

If all of this sounds interesting to you, or if you’re a fan of the series and looking forward to Echoes, you can still pre-register on Google Play and the App Store and get all the benefits of doing so. a host of handouts when the game finally starts.
