Polyphony Digital did an excellent job of updating GT Sport with new content for several years, and it looks like it’s ready to repeat that commitment with Gran Turismo 7. With the excellent race’s controversial currency issues in the game improved, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi taken to Twitter with its usual “silhouette” teaser. “[The] update coming next week, ”he beamed.
Three new cars will be added as part of the update. Based on our own observations – and from what we have read online – the trio will be: Subaru BRZ GT300, Subaru BRZ 2021 and Suzuki Cappuccino. It’s unclear if this update will come with further gameplay improvements, content or changes – but given that the title has only just been launched, we are not expecting too much yet.
As GT Sport matures, its updates got bigger and more ambitious, so we expect a similar roadmap here. The cool thing is that Polyphony Digital tends to provide free support after the release of its titles, so while you obviously need to have enough Credits available to catch these new vehicles, they will not cost you a penny unless you decide to top up your wallet in the game.
