Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign is now expected to be released in August

The release of Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign has apparently slipped to August 2022.

The co-op campaign was expected to be released next month after it was delayed from its initial launch. Last month, however, developer 343 Industries acknowledged that it needed “more time” to work on the collaborative campaign and Forge, and collaborative missions would not be available in May as hoped.

Now, in a photo on the company’s latest news update, the 343i has revealed that the “goal” for campaign collaboration is August, along with the campaign emission replay. Forge Open Beta is scheduled for September, but split screen is not expected until sometime during November’s season 3.

“We know we need to deliver more content and features faster,” Joseph Staten admitted in the latest Halo Waypoint update. “Staying true to priority zero means we sometimes have to slow down to stay healthy and move faster later. But we also look aggressively at ways to accelerate.

“As we continue to improve and increase, you must understand that all of us at 343 are fully committed to making Halo Infinite the best Halo experience ever,” the State added. “The primary reason we are extending season 2 is actually to give ourselves time before we send another season to fully address ‘quality of life’ improvements based on season 1 experience as well as other data and feedback we has collected. ”

It comes just a few weeks after 343 Community Director Brian Jarrard previously said the studio understood that some fans were “simply out of patience” with the game’s various frustrations and that his team “was certainly not happy about being out able to meet player and society’s expectations “. However, some of these should be taken up as part of the new season, he added.
