New Google Pixel 6 error rejects some calls without even calling the phone

The bug has been raised by several Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners

The Google Pixel 6 series has suffered from a wide range of flaws in its short lifespan, and the latter affects phone calls on both versions of the phone. According to several reports on r / GooglePixel Reddit (via Phone Arena), some users experience that calls are rejected without any interaction from the user.

User / merryjaina raised the issue and said that their phone rejected calls without notifying them. There is also no message about missed call on the phone and the person only detects it when they are told elsewhere that they have missed a call. The phone log has a history of the attempted call, but it says it was rejected. After this user raised the issue, others claimed to have the same issue across Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro devices.

Some have claimed that there was a problem with Do Not Disturb features on the Pixel 6 series, but the original user has said that these features are turned off on their phone and the problem persists. This means that there is no quick fix if this error affects you.

Google has not yet commented on the bug, so it’s unclear if the company is aware of this issue and is working on a fix.
