Nokia 7.2 continues to receive Android 11 | Nokia

The announcement that the latest true Nokia flagship device, Nokia 9 PureView, is not getting an Android 11 OS update, was the modern Burning memo. However, many knew that this device had problems with the software and the new software version was even more buggy. Since this device was not sold in the millions, Nokia Mobile decided to leave it with Android 10 which works well rather than updating the device and causing more issues.

The fact that Android 11 was delayed was a sign that things are not going well in Nokia Mobile’s software department. Problems continued with Nokia 7.2, which received its first Android 11 update in November 2021. The second wave came a few months later, and the third appeared recently.

The V3.690 update is finally available for our Nokia 7.2, but it seems that it may appear on other devices that have not yet received the update. The size of the package is quite large, 1.59 GB, and the update also brings a patch for February.

I have to say the installation was quick and the old champ works perfectly. I have never experienced any issues with my 7.2, except that the screen got some sort of burn marks in the top left corner.

Are you happy with your Nokia 7.2?

Nokia 6.2 update from April 2022

Nokia 6.2 also receives a software update. Our reader Henrik has just emailed us that his Nokia 6.2 has just received a 23 MB large April security patch. The update is available in Uzbekistan, which is a lovely country just above Turkmenistan. Check your Nokia 6.2 for availability of updates.
