Coaches got a lot of details about Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet when the new generation was first unveiled in February.
So when is the next update? Well, there power be something planned for next week. According to the Pocketmonsters.net Twitter account, the Japanese Pokémon Variety show called ‘PokéDoko 4’ will be shown on April 24 (aka next weekend), and will include a segment with the “latest information on the Pokémon games”.
If there is new information included about the latest generation, it could be officially revealed before the show airs next Sunday. It could also potentially be existing information, another Pokémon game related message or something completely different – so try not to get too excited.

It’s been years since any of the Pokémon Variety shows have had exclusive new game information. However, that would be a great way to get viewers back.
“The latest information on Pokémon games!” <- does not always indicate new info, only the "latest". This could mean new info or trailers that have already been released, or it could mean new info that was released in the same week that has been an event recently.
* IF * this is new game information, it’s most likely to be announced this week before it airs on this show. Pokémon Variety Shows has not revealed exclusive game news for years.
