It seems that people are still jumping on the hype train after the roaring success Wordle, the eloquent daily pun from creator Josh Wardle. We have seen spin-offs involving the world of Pokémon and the craze even branches out to music with people like Heardle.

With the music game becoming successful in itself, we are starting to see other versions based on popular video game franchises emerge. Recently, Sonic the Hedgehog got its own version of Heardle with songs taken from pretty much every entry to the long-running franchise, and now it’s Resident Evil’s trip.

Created by Twitter user @ AestheticGamer1 (often known for random Resident Evil trivia and the strange leak here and there), the game shows one song a day, taken from a long list of Resident Evil titles. However, you need to have some knowledge of the franchise, as the game boasts over 500 songs from the various games, including more obscure titles such as. Resident Evil Outbreak: File 2, Resident Evil Survivorand Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

Still, with Switch hosting a lot more modern Resident Evil titles, chances are you’ll encounter a familiar song in the coming days. You can bet we play daily with the Sonic version!
