After today’s leak regarding Nintendo Switch OnlineTwitter user Mondo_Mega has come up with a list of GBA games that have apparently been tested for the service.
A number of heavy hitters are here. You have top releases from Nintendo like Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Golden Sun and Wario Land 4. Third party games such as Astro Boy: Omega Factor, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Mega Man Battle Network 2 was apparently also tested.
You can find the full list below. Keep in mind that just because a game has been tested does not guarantee that it will appear on the Nintendo Switch Online. Still, it should give us an idea of what might be on the way.
Note that games in yellow mean that they were in the ROM folder at one point, but not in the leaked build from today.
Also a treat about Pokemon: the emulator has screenshots of various bear brand screens from Pokemon Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald. These were assumed to have been taken during link cable emulation testing.
Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles were also part of today’s leaks for the Nintendo Switch Online, though there is less to go after there. Reportedly, the GBA emulator in the files was further ahead. On the Game Boy / Game Boy Color side of things, each game is a separate app, and there are only four of them: Super Mario Land, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX, Tetris, and Qix.
