It’s been a crazy week for Nintendo Switch Online with a streak of rumors, and it’s not going to get any slower. In recent developments, recordings of unreleased NES games for Switch’s subscription service have now appeared online via a leak.
Below is a side-by-side comparison of the current version and a master version build of the NES Online application (via @orcastraw). As you can see, there are all sorts of extra games here such as Tetris, Pac-Manmany Mega man games and other titles such as Castlevania. There are also a number of additional ‘SP’ games on display.
The catch here is that this is a build that apparently goes back to October 2019, which means there is no guarantee that we will necessarily see these games made available in the store in the future. In other words, you just have to wait and see.
Nintendo seems to be currently focusing on monthly N64 releases, so maybe when it gets some time, it will add these some extra titles to the NES service. What do you think of the above games in this latest leak? Which ones would you like to see in the near future? As always, leave a comment below.
