It’s time for another Overwatch League season.

If you missed claiming Overwatch 2 beta access through today’s mega Twitch Drops campaign, all is not lost. The Overwatch League will be giving away thousands of beta keys over the course of its opening weekend.
OWL postponed the first two weeks of matches in the East due to COVID-19 protocols, so all opening weekend matches take place in the afternoon and evening in America. They start at 15.00 Eastern time every day between 5 May and 8 May. You can see the whole week 1 schedule here:
1,500 keys will be given away every hour during the opening weekend of season 5. According to the rad announcement trailer, codes will be given away during other selected matches.
Overwatch League matches are broadcast on YouTube instead of Twitch. To be eligible for one Overwatch 2 beta key through this campaign, link your YouTube account to Battle.net. You can do so by clicking or tapping the rewards icon below the OWL YouTube stream.
You must watch at least one hour of OWL broadcasts to be eligible. The English, French and Korean broadcasts will all feature drops. The rules of OWL Overwatch 2 beta key giveaway is here.
What’s more, you’ll be able to see how the professionals play Overwatch 2 and you will receive Overwatch League tokens. You can use them on OWL skin in the game. Five tokens will fall into your account for each set hour, and you will receive double tokens during the following matches:
- Los Angeles Gladiators Vs. New York Excelsior (May 5 at 3:00 PM ET)
- Vancouver Titans vs. Boston Uprising (16:40 ET, May 6)
- Washington Justice Vs. Toronto Defiant (15:00 ET, May 7)
- Florida Mayhem Vs. Paris Eternal (16:30 ET, May 8)

The first Overwatch 2 beta will run until May 17th. There will be more betas in the future, including those for console players.
