Unannounced remake project added to Naughty Dog employee resume

When you’re a studio as gigantic as Naughty Dog, something’s going to slip. Example: The online resume of QA tester Corey Hong refers to an “unannounced remake project”. Of course, we know exactly what that game is: The Last of Us. Despite being less than 10 years old, it has been known for some time now that the California studio is recreating Joel and Ellie’s original outing to PlayStation 5 – in fact, some believe the project is nearing completion.

Since the studio itself fails to acknowledge the project – and Sony as secretly as possible – this will serve as a reminder of what the developer is up to. We also know that a standalone, The Last of Us multiplayer game is in production – where both , we suspect, is scheduled to launch alongside the TV show. We’re excited about when Naughty Dog will recognize these games in an official capacity – it’s been awfully quiet for years now.
