Playstation now reportedly loses 56 games before launching new PS Plus

The all-new PlayStation Plus levels begin rolling out in some regions in late May. When they do, Playstation now will cease to exist and the service will be offered in a slightly different form as part of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. It seems that Sony is starting to prepare for the change, as 56 games have currently been listed as leaving PS Now during May 2022, and more are expected to be added to the list.

Which games are leaving Playstation Now?

So far, 56 games are expected to leave PS Now during May 2022, most of which have been released by SEGA, THQ Nordic or Konami. It is worth mentioning that only one of the games on the list below has been confirmed by Sony. According to u / Cobra_Bite on Reddit, they show other departure dates that keep popping up and disappearing in the Playstation Store. The list of 56 games includes:

Several titles are expected to join this list. Playstation Now currently includes more than 400 PS3 games and around 20 PS2 games, yet the new Playstation Plus Premium level will only include “up to 340” PS3, PS2, PlayStation and PSP games. To make room for the games from Playstation and PSP consoles, this means that at least 80 PS3 games will leave the service. As soon as we hear more, we will make sure to let you know.

In other news, the Japanese island of Tsushima plans to sell Ghost of Tsushima goods in the form of the “Ghost of REAL Tsushima” line. Elsewhere, Infinity ward was once working on a follow-up to Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Extinction mode, but it never reached beyond the prototype stage.
